Words have the power to topple nations, end friendships, and occasionally ruin a perfectly good evening. In Tomb of the Bloodletter they also spell doom for whatever curse creature happens to be crawling out of the tomb.

Don't let the cute beasts fool you. This is a game that rewards quick thinking, faster fingers, and the ability to pull the exact right word from the deep recesses of your mind.

Armed with nothing but a keyboard infused with unpredictable Magick, you venture forth into the depths as one of four Graverobbers – Heretic, Adventurer, Scholar, or Prophet – each twisting the rules of the game in their own way. Letters carry effects, conditions, and consequences that change how every word behaves once it hits the page.

Combat becomes less about perfect vocabulary and more about spotting a word that works, typing it out and watching it work it's Magick. It's strategic and chaotic in a way I haven't seen a typing game achieve before.

Tomb of the Bloodletter launches on PC via Steam on February 5th 2026, developed by solo developer Ethan’s Secretions. Check out the demo now and use your words wisely.

Tomb of the Bloodletter is a roguelike built entirely around typing, turning the keyboard into an arsenal and every word into a potential weapon. When players enter a floor, Magicks are assigned directly to individual letters, each obeying strange and specific rules. A letter may strike harder when placed at the end of a word, another might restore health, while other Magicks punish certain patterns or combinations, requiring careful consideration of not just what word to spell, but how it is constructed.
