A Quiet And Beautiful Journey To Find Polka
Drawn entirely in ballpoint pen, Finding Polka is a wholesome, wordless adventure about friendship, memory, and following a dog you thought was gone.
There are two things I am a sucker for and will almost certainly attract my attention: expressive illustrations and linework, and stories about pets. Finding Polka has both, and it's a beauty for the eyes and heart.

One day, Frendy spots her childhood dog, Polka. Before she can process the moment, he's gone – and so, the journey to find him begins, with Jazz right alongside her. This is a wholesome, heartfelt adventure, filled with small, human interactions. You high-five new friends (literally), wander through worlds sketched delicately in ballpoint ink, and watch the land unfold at its own pace.

My favourite part is the game's decision to use no dialogue at all. Every time I've experienced a game or movie like this, it has led to deeply emotional storytelling. When words disappear, feelings have nowhere to hide; it is loud and expressive in the small gestures, cheers, and laughter.
